Its so stinking cold here today! We went out for a little bit and because we had all our layers, the only part of us that was cold was our face, but it was very cold! The high today was 12 (and no that is not in Celsius!) but it felt like -8 degrees! Here, check out our 10 day forecast:

Thankfully our apartment has great heat! We just have to wear LOTS of layers when we leave the apartment.
Apparently Ukrainians have an affinity for meat flavored chips. So far we have found BACON flavored Pringles, CRAB flavored Lays, and (are you ready for this?!?!?) SQUID flavored Lays. We tried the bacon ones, not so bad, but we don't have the guts to try the seafood flavored chips. However we are taking orders if you want us to bring some home! :) I am eating some sour cream and mushroom flavored Lays right now, not too bad. At least that is what I think they are based on the pictures, I can't read the label!
Tomorrow is the big day where Vladik gets asked again about whether or not he wants us to adopt him. We get to the orphanage at 11am which is 4am Georgia time so if you happen to awake then... say a little prayer!
Heh... we noticed crab/lobster/etc flavored stuff too. Wasn't bad.
ReplyDeleteDennis recognized Vlad in your profile picture... excited to be praying for him and you guys tonight. It gives me such a huge smile that he doesn't fully understand praying -- he gets we are doing it for the kids but I don't think he gets we are talking with God -- but is so excited to do so. When he figured the reality out I think he's going to be floored.
