We have been awarded a $4000 matching adoption grant from Promise 686!

Promise 686 is a not-for-profit organization that provides matching grants to help families with the high costs associated with adoption. You can make a tax deductible donation to Promise 686 and they will match funds up to $4000. If we raise anything over $4000 it will not be matched but will still go to our adoption costs. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the ability to help financially, the following are the instructions to do so in a tax-deductible, matching funds way:

1.  Checks should be made payable to:

Promise686, Inc.

2.  Please make sure and include “Brownlow-Walls Adoption” in the memo section

3.  Mail to:

Promise686, Inc.
3600 River Ferry Drive
Alpharetta, GA 30022

4. If you would prefer, you can make a donation through Paypal using the following link:

* Note:  per IRS guidelines, promise686 maintains complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.

From this summer:

This is my first try at blogging...

I have had requests by some people to blog about our experiences with hosting Vladik and then the adoption process so here goes...
